You probably found this website after you expressed an interest in finding a job. There happens to be Supported Employment services available at Bay Area Community Services. This does not mean everyone who expresses interest in receiving employment services is eligible. We hope you will find the information available on this page helpful. Please feel free to contact us if you would like more detailed information.

Simple – then you are not in the right place. If you feel you are not ready to work, however, then that is another question. We encourage you to take the time to figure out what it is you want. We realize that there is much pressure, especially in the Bay Area, to increase your income in order to qualify for or sustain housing. When getting a job or increasing your income is a goal, then please complete the Referral Form.

Well, the simple explanation is that we were receiving too many phone calls. Even after asking a few questions, we found that many people could be better served by other employment services or other agencies. Many times, we will work in cooperation with other agencies as long as there is approved disclosure. We want to make sure you received the best supported employment services.

No. We might work with staffing agencies, but we are simply helping people find jobs. We work primarily with programs and referrals from Bay Area Community Services.
